Very good and affordable tumbler
This 20 oz tumbler by Sursip is very versatile. It comes with two stainless steel straws thin for regular water or juice, and a wider one for drinks containing thicker consistency like smoothies or beverages with bubba pearls. This makes it a durable straw as opposed to plastic straws.The glass is borosilicate and this allows you to serve very hot beverages without any risk of shattering due to temperature. Borosilicate was the main component of Pyrex. That means you can either freeze a beverage inside and transfer to a hot beverage without the glass exploding. The glass is not going to survive if you drop it from a height. The silicone cover allows you to handle very cold or very hot beverages in the hand but you have to be careful if you touch the glass window which is a great feature for allowing you to see the beverage directly, but this same window may allow humidity to form in the outside and make it slippery.There are two lids one is made of bamboo and is very cute and can be used rapidly but you cannot put it in a purse or allow it to tilt as it will come off. The other lid is plastic and is for sipping either hot coffee or a cold beverage. This lid is quite tight and will not allow spillage once is correctly placed, but I found it quite difficult to place this lid over the rim and you will need to wet the rubber inside because a dry rubber over glass is almost impossible to fit properly. Once you wet the interior it will be easier to place this lid.Both straws come with cleaning brushes and even they give you a small sponge on a handle that allows cleaning of the inside of the tumbler. I think that you do not need to remove the silicone protective cover all the time, just occasionally. But removing this silicone glass protector also may be difficult and you may need to be careful not to break the glass while doing this.Overall, my first cold drink experience was great. I prepared a matcha latte and I loved the way it looked and the softness of the rubber tip on my lips. The tumbler looks very cool and practical. The price for all the accessories is just right and affordable and overall, I think this is a rather fun and elegant tumbler. Even with the minor points that I describe in this review this one deserves a 5 star.
