The good old days!
This dresser scarf/table runner brought back so many great memories of Mom and Grammy who always used pretty lace runners over the dressers.These are impossible to even find in stores anymore. I know they did drop out of style, but I never do follow the trends!Anyways, on to the review...It was very well made, very nice sewing, no loose threads. The embroidery is quite pretty! The background of the runner is a netting type material, which I don't mind at all. If your looking for more of a lace background you may not like this particular one. I think it's very pretty and with all the beautiful embroidery, I think having a lacey background may look too busy. The measurements were exact, which I appreciated very much. It came folded in a small package...no offensive oder at all. I thought the price point was great!I placed it over a wooden chest of drawers and it really gave it a very pretty rustic elegance to the piece. Plus it brought in more of the white color that I like.I really have no complaints about this but a whole lot of fond memories!

I purchased the gold, and the color looks like aged, vintage lace. Not a gawdy gold. The pattern is beautiful and would be lovely for a wedding. I put mine on top of a robins egg blue runner and that really shows off the intricate pattern. I am very happy with this purchase. I really wish there was a smaller option for a end table.
