Quality fondue pot. A real conversation starter.
I lived in Switzerland for awhile and fondue pots are everywhere as fondue is a national dish. This type is quite common. It is well made. The image on the exterior is lovely. The inside coating is like teflon, easy to clean and care for. The first one I ordered had a flaw on the teflon coating, so I returned it and received a second one that had no issues. I look forward to sharing it with friends and family.

Perfect!
I bought four of these so my husband and I could have fondue dates at our very rural home. And they’re beautiful! And they are perfect! I look forward to buying more from this company!

Perfection! And no cords to trip over!!
I looked at these fondue pots for a couple of years before finally pulling the trigger and buying one. I have had electric ones in the past & they always seemed to have the shortest electric cord possible, which makes it tricky to set up the pot to serve guests. This set completely eliminates the cord issue.I typically prep my fondue on the stove top (this set works great on a smooth glass top stove) and then move it to the stand with the fire gel to keep it warm. This set doesn't scorch your food, looks great & holds a lot of cheese! I have already recommended this item to several friends & would encourage anyone to get this version rather than an electric one

Good Pot, Terrible Burner
This is a very nice cheese fondue pot but the burner sucks. The Spring Switzerland burners have dampening material in the burner so that inexpensive, easy to find denatured alcohol can be used without sloshing around. This burner makes using denatured alcohol messy. Of course Swissmar sells silly expensive jelled fuel for their burner. Knocked off 2 stars because of the burner. Otherwise the pot get 5 stars.

Perfect for holiday or winter fondue!
I absolutely love Swissmar Heidi fondue set!! The pot is larger than I imagined which is perfect because I wanted to make sure I could make plenty! It’s a very sturdy set and the adorable etching of Heidi and the Swiss mountain village really adds to the authenticity of fondue dinners! Def worth the price!!

the fondue set looks great and mostly worked great
Bought to make fondue on Valentines Day. Didn't realize fuel is sold separate so had to buy sterno firestarter fuel last minute. Not sure if that fuel burns hotter but noticed that even when the flame was adjusted to lowest setting, the chocolate burned a bit at the bottom. Nevertheless, the fondue set looks great and mostly worked great. I hope with the correct fuel the burning issue will be resolved. Would recommend.

This is how the Swiss do fondue
5-star review, probably somewhat biased by having been to Switzerland and having fondue in pots very similar to this. That being said, this is how the Swiss do fondue. Having traveled all over Switzerland and sampling fondue from all over the country, I came across only a single place that used an electric hot plate and metallic fondue pot. The pot is heavy, but not overly so, and the handle is thick, providing a good surface to grip. The interior is coated in a nice teflon anti-stick layer, making clean-up incredibly easy. There was some burnt-on cheese from directly above where the gel fuel sits, but that is to be expected / could be impacted by how much we stirred the cheese, how much heat we gave it, etc. A quick soak in hot, soapy water took care of that.Side note: The prefabricated Swissmar fuel pods fit perfectly in the fuel tray, but I'd recommend using the gel squirt bottle. The pods are not resealable and provide enough fuel for more than a single sitting, so you can either toss the remainder of the fuel or put the open pod in a ziploc bag and be careful with it. Or make enough fondue to last several hours of people picking at it.
