Solid and Sturdy, but I wish the lid snapped onto the container
This is a really nice rim tray, but I have one issues with it.Pros:It is sturdy and solid.The rubber lid can be placed under the tray to make it "slip proof" which is really nice.It holds a lot of salt. I love the lime flavored salt for margaritas :)Cons:The lid does not snap on, so it just sits on the top of the tray. After a couple of margaritas, this could prove to be a problem. It would be really nice if the lid snapped in place.The center compartment for limes is a little big so glasses with a smaller rim might not fit over it.

Not what I had hoped for.....
This product was not what I had hoped. I was wanting to use this to store my margarita salt to keep it moisture free and fresh between uses. I have another type now that has a lid that just sits on top and it is always getting spilled accidentally. I had to put a rubber band on it to keep the top on. The description on the box of this Tablecraft H634 Margarita Rimmer says, "Tight Fitting Lid". This could not be further from the truth. The silicon lid just rests on top of the plastic body and it fits very loose. If you turn it over it just falls off. Not what I was hoping for. It would certainly not keep moisture out, or prevent an accidental spill. Returned it for a refund. Doesn't anybody make one of these with a tight fitting lid????

It's okay
It looks nicer online. Online, it looks like it's stainless with a simple silicone top. It's not stainless, and I knew that, but I didn't expect it to look so cheap. It'll do for the moment to store the margarita salt, but I'll be looking for something that will look nice in use, too.

This works well - great for even the larger glasses. For some reason none of my margarita glasses fit in the other salt rimmers I have tried.The lid could be tighter fitting - it will come off if you try to pick it up by the lid.Also the lid plastic is fairly soft rubbery plastic. (I was kind of expecting a silicone type of material). I managed to scratch it up a bit with a dishwashing scrubber. Easy to avoid if you know about it in advance.

Not as useful as it seems.
Very difficult to use. I bought these because I thought that having a single salt dish instead of the rotary one that takes up so much space would be simpler. The well in the middle is so large that my pint glass barely fits around it to salt. I have to rotate the glass around in a strange way to get the whole rim salted. I keep a lime wedge in the center to use before salting, but the well fills with salt and makes a big mess while using. The lid fits under it nicely, but when it's closed the lid is not secure. Such a waste. :-/
