I got this sieve to put underneath a hanging bird feeder to stop the mess from falling on the ground. It worked perfectly! One of my dogs decided that lapping up bird seed was her favorite thing, and this has solved the problem. All I did was wire it under the feeder so it hung directly below and it works great!
I'm more or less happy with it. Only issue is that it is not easy to clean after use. Almost makes me think twice before use.
If you are sifting with this 12" sifter, make sure you have a bowl greater than 12" in diameter to sift into. For some reason it didn't occur to me before purchasing -- and now I have flour all over my counter. I was just thinking "I have a lot of flour, a larger sifter will make the work easier." So this review is for a future "me" to be aware.I'm sifting freshly milled flour for my daughter's birthday cake. Whole grain is delicious and nutritious in most baked goods... But we prefer cake to have a less-whole-grain flavor.
I have not used it yet, but it looks strong and of good quality.
Broke after one day. If you’re using this for anything more than sifting flour it won’t last.
I wish there was a larger size available so I could order it
