Dad still eats.
Work was intended. Nice to have the choice of circle or square. Even though square is more efficient. Dad eats the crust. Kids eat the sandwich.

Ok it takes some trial and error but we have it figured out by the 3rd attempt at pb&j 😂 We use Dave’s Killer Organic Bread and I was worried that it wasn’t gonna seal the way more processed breads do but it definitely works! Step 1: cut bread first with metal thingStep 2: apply pb & j— leaving some space on the edge of the cut bread.Step 3: use uncrustable device to seal.Boom.Mama & toddler approved!
My new favorite way to make sandwiches.
Very cool that this comes with a circle and square-shaped press and slicer for the uncrustables. I like the option to do both. That said, I'm going through a learning curve on what I can press in it. The most basic bread is too small for this and if placed in a specific way, can kind of do the circle one (with a little bit of crust).I have been following an influencer who used these and was excited to get the same ones since she does a lot of fun recipes with them. Her advice was great, if you're going to save them in the fridge or freezer, put peanut butter on both sides of the bread so it doesn't get soggy from the jelly.I have enjoyed many PB&J's so far. I tried to make my breakfast sammy into one the other day and the cold English muffin didn't work as well. I'll try it with bread or a tortilla soon. The one I made I saved in the fridge and put it in the toaster the next day, and even though it didn't fully stay together, it was great! The metal cutter part comes off nice and easily for cleaning. It didn't come with directions which is okay since it's pretty easy to figure out but that also meant no info like if it's dishwasher safe.Overall, there's a lot of potential and if you have the right-sized vessel, it seems this will be perfect for alot of recipes.
These are great. Use them for meal prepping for the week. Put peanut but on both slices of bread and no jelly bleed through. Perfectly sealed uncrustables that are a fraction of the price and way more fresh and you can make with high quality ingredients. Bread edges go to chickens so no waste! 500 times better than the all plastic version, metal cutter is necessary. Easy to use! I would recommend using larger, thinner slices of bread and it works even better.
