It' is a lot of FUN !!

The kit functions as described. The controls are clearly marked and simple to use. It displayed the entire taco dinner very festively. Having all taco ingredients close together is definitely more picturesque and convenient than having a random bunch of bowls and containers all over the kitchen counter.The center warming cup holds 33oz of taco meat which is enough food for an entire dinner of four adults with leftovers. A larger crowd or a group would most likely require some refilling--unless the small compartments were removed (as the directions suggest) and used in addition to their spaces in the bottom container.The central warming compartment heats the food that it contains while the outer compartments remain at room temperature. The lid is heat safe and may be kept on when the unit is heated.The heating compartment works really well.All the components except for the electric base are dishwasher safe. They are also quick and easy to hand wash. All the parts fit neatly together for storage.All in all, it is a fun appliance to use, and the price is reasonable.There are a few downsides:The taco holders work best with crunchy taco shells.The turntable function doesn’t doesn't turn easily or smoothly but it does work.I plan to try out the chocolate and fondu options.

Great idea!

This is one of those items that you really don't need but is great to have! It is called the taco Tuesday kit but can be used for entertaining with other items...I have used this for having other snacks and utilizing the heated section for a hot dip (cheesy shrimp scampi dip and a hot avocado dip). This is easy to use for you can fill the individual sections ahead of time, store in fridge and the pop into base when ready to serve. Fun for a taco night! At $40 maybe an extravagance and do to the overall size storage could be an issue.

I ordered 3 sets for family members. Wow they are great and my family loved them. They are all big Taco Tuesday dinner lovers. The only bad thing was. They shipped them in the original boxes. The boxes got damaged and didn’t look good to give away. They were out of stock so options to return were not available.
