I do wish there were a little more room between the layers because they are snapped together. I will probably just take them apart and use them like that. Together they are too hard to get your hand in there to grab an egg.
Impossible to use both layers without the risk of breaking eggs. It does not prop up well and needs to be lifted to use bottom tray.
Eggs roll easily, and slowly. It fits chicken and duck eggs. Looks great with my farmhouse iron accents. Easy to clean with my kitchen brush. No dislikes.
