They worked, but very wrinkled.

These gold foil tablecloths worked well enough for our purpose. They did not have the smell I read in some reviews; we opened them right away in case we needed to air them out, but not an issue. The gold is brilliant, the perfect golden ticket color. The material was quality - no tears or rips with use. My disappointment is in that the folds are impossible to smooth out so you see ever square mark on the table (or in our case the wall because we hung it for a backdrop.) We tried a cool blow dryer, we tried hanging them outside in the humidity, we tried a warm iron over a towel.... no success. Not sure what the answer would be, if they could be sent in a roll. I imagine when used as a table cloth, you probably cover them with enough stuff that it isn't so unaesthetic.
