Doesn’t hold 25lbs

The container is great I just wish I knew that it didn’t hold 25lbs. I bought this to store my rice which I buy in Sam’s club and the entire rice bag is 25lbs. I was hoping I can store my rice in this container versus leaving half the bag open in my pantry. Also the top takes up some room so less space is available. Anyway overall the deal is great, looks very nice, easy to open and I washed it with warm water and soap and it dried very well with no water marks.

Perfect storage!

I buy protein powder in bulk because, well... it's expensive. Between me, hubs, and a teenage son, we get a 5lb bag on subscribe and save to try and cut costs. The problem is after the initial use or two, the 'ziplock' seal on this big bag no longer closes. It's super annoying to have to use a chip clip to keep it closed, and I refuse to switch to a different brand just because they might send it in a tub. THIS was my solution! It's perfect for 5lbs of protein powder, or flour, or any other dried good you buy in bulk and want to store. The best part is I wanted to keep it in a deep kitchen drawer, and more often than not, something that stores 5lbs of any thing dry is taller and narrow. This was the opposite - shorter but wider. Just right for a drawer, and now it stays fresh until the very last protein shake is made!

Great for storing flour

I was looking for something bigger for my flour but settled for this because larger containers didn’t have seal to keep weevils out. It’s easy to open a quick touch on the top and it either seals or opens. I really am glad I purchased this product. Will be looking to add more of this container to my kitchen.

Keeps Things Fresh.

My biggest complaint with this is that it needs a handle to move it around. I'm using it to store birdseed, thus it does not sit on my countertop. The handle shown in the picture is part of the airtight system and can't be used to lift and carry the container; full or not. I suggest a harness accessory that slips on up to the collar with a bridge handle to relocate the container as needed. Otherwise, this is a well made, sturdy container that keeps seeds, nuts, or grains fresh and free from insects and rodents. I can recommend this product.
