We typically buy a 15 lb bag of rice at a time, and I wanted an attractive container to store it in rather than leaving the open bag out. Each container easily stores one of those 15 lb bags of rice. I appreciate the suction feature on the lid, which functions effectively. Despite washing them several times, the seal remains as secure as it was initially. The inclusion of a measuring cup scoop is very convenient, as it eliminates the need to dirty another utensil when cooking rice. The containers fit perfectly under my pantry shelves, slide in and out effortlessly, and are lightweight enough to lift when accessing the rice. Cleaning them is straightforward, and I let them air dry overnight, so they are ready to refill the next day. These containers are user-friendly, easy to clean, keep the rice fresh, and add a touch of style to the kitchen. Now all I need are some decorative labels to distinguish which type of rice is in each container.
