It works great for more than just "Rice"

My workout clothes can really stink. My wife bought me some special auxiliary detergent helper (granular) to use in addition to Tide to get the stink out. But it was up to me to find a way to store and measure out exactly a cup into each load - the paper box the stuff comes in is trash. This "rice" container holds and seals all 4 lbs perfectly. Organizes into the cabinet above easily. Doles out 1 cup at a time perfectly. And looks to last fine (really like handle on top).Do I use it for rice? No. Do I trust it implicitly now to hold 4 lbs of any non-toxic dry goods? YES

Great container — just wish it included a rice cooker–sized cup

I really like this rice container overall. The size and shape are perfect for pantry storage, it keeps the rice fresh, and the easy-pour spout makes it super convenient to use daily. The build quality feels solid, and it fits nicely on a shelf without taking up too much space.My only issue is the included measuring cup. It’s a standard US 1-cup (240 ml) measure, which doesn’t work if you use a Korean or Japanese rice cooker. Those typically use a 180 ml cup, so the provided scoop throws off the water ratios and can affect the texture of the rice.Not a dealbreaker, I just use the correct rice cup separately, but it would be great if they included a 180 ml option or at least noted the difference.Overall, very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Great for non-food items too!

Love these! I actually use them for powder dishwasher detergent that I get in bulk from the refillery. I take the empty one with me to the refillery and keep the other one under the sink. Locking cap keeps the detergent dry, pour spout doesn’t dispense too much or too little, and the handle and ridges make it easy to carry and handle.

Good quality, smaller than stated, well designed with higher price to match

We purchased 20lbs of rice from Costco and were looking for containers to store them in, deciding on these for the pantry.Arrived and is clearly a quality product, well designed, and with actually useful features a normal storage container doesn't offer. It's size is smaller than we expected, holding about 3lbs of rice and not, as stated, 4lbs.Price is high for a storage solution.We ended up returning it. Instead we purchased 2 large jars from the Asian store to store most of it -- for a quarter the price -- and an Oxo storage container we already had for 2-3 lbs of rice in the pantry.
