Excellent tea or coffee setup for 1 or 2. High quality ceramic cup with appropriate weight and density to hold heat for proper sipping. Spoon very stylish and functional. Wooden saucer great for holding biscuits and breads.Easy cleaning for all three item. Love it!!

I purchased this for a friend's birthday, as her nightly routine includes tea & biscuits before bed. I wished the mug was slightly bigger (I believe it's only 8 or 10 oz) but otherwise the set looka beautiful and is very functional.
Really nice quality. The tray is solid wood and the mug has a nice weight to it. It's smaller than I expected, so it's definitely more of an afternoon tea/coffee break set. It's still a lovely set and would make a nice gift.

Both the cup and wooden tray are well made. The finish is smooth. There are no snags, discolorations, cracks etc.The capacity of the cup is an ideal size for me. It provides a good sized serving of tea, coffee or hot chocolate but it's not so large that my tea is cold before I finish it.A part of me wishes the tray were larger so that it could hold more. The wiser me knows it's a good thing it isn't any bigger since a lack of portion control is a personal demon of mine. The tray easily accommodates a muffin, couple of cookies etc, which is healthier and more than sufficient.While this isn't anything that I need, using it makes me smile. It helps to make tea (or coffee) and a snack a pleasant, albeit small, ritual. That extra bit of pleasure is appreciated and worthwhile.I'm using, and keeping this, for myself, but it makes a lovely gift. I plan to buy another for my bestie who is also a fan of life's token pleasures.
