Gave for early Xmas presents to pucky tea lovers. They love the design, size and double wall that doesn't burn your hands and keeps the tea hot. They really like the patterns. I'm very happy i also got one for me. I will be drinking more good tea. I am spoiled now.

This is the perfect tea vessel for me. I don't do hot tea often. I love how the strainer hangs nicely on the edge and cleans up so nicely. Big enough to put enough loose tea to get 2 fills out of the full-ish strainer. No tiny particles made it into my tea. And it's so dang pretty.
These tea cups are lovely. Very well made and an excellent choice for loose leaf drinkers. So many cute patterns. I love the vibrant colors on this one.

Every year around the holidays, I buy gifts for those I love. This was meant to be one of those gifts. I decided that this would make the perfect gift for myself. I was feeling guilty up to the time I steeped my first cup of tea, using a gift pack which was also intended to go with this gift (shhhhhh). I actually got another Tea Forte' mug and tea set for the gift recipient because I liked it so much. First impressions: The look of the mug is so beautiful. The colors are calming and the design fits with my tastes. The cup has weight but not so much that it is uncomfortable to hold and the width around the cup is good and doesn't slip as I'm holding it. I made a single steep pack and it was pretty straight forward. Open lid, pour tea into strainer, boil water, pour over tea, lid the cup and wait. Once it was steeped, I removed the lid, put it upside down, removed the strainer, placed it on the lid and tried my first sip. There were no loose tea particles floating in it, which made me very happy. It was devine! I did not have to add milk, honey or sugar because the tea was that good! Since then, I've made 1-2 cups of tea with this each day for the week I've had it. 1 loose leaf pack I used left a tiny amount of particles in the cup but it could have been the speed I poured the water over the top. I did take the cup with me twice in the car. It's cold here so as my car was warming up, I let it steep in the cup warmer. I emptied the strainer in my yard (all organic folks, figured the birds would like the dried cherries that were in it) and placed the lid on my seat with the strainer in it. The lid is not for drinker from, it has the hole there to allow the handle of the strainer to hang from the lip of the cup. It is not meant to be a travel mug and wasn't the easiest thing to do. You wouldn't want the water to be too high, you wouldn't want to take too long to drink the tea and it is ceramic and could break. No stars taken away from my review because it is not advertised as a travel mug. I still think I'll take it with me occasionally and this will be great for work once my vacation is over!
