The handle does not get hot.

This tea kettle is just what I wanted. I looks pretty, heats fast on my gas range and the handle does not get hot!! I made this purchase for 2 reasons, I wanted something stainless steel and I wanted a handle that did not get hot once the kettle water was hot. It has a whistle to let you know the water is hot enough for your tea or hot cocoa or mushroom coffee. And it pours very nicely. It is rather light weight when empty, could possibly get dinged easily if you bang it while washing it out but so far, I am very happy with the purchase.

Whistle didn’t work - no instruction book inside box as stated. Requested a replacement - 2nd kettle; WHISTLE DOESN'T WORK- NO instruction booklet inside box as online states. TWICE IS TOO COINCIDENTAL. It was a gift shipped for my 88 year old mom who had to return first one..not going thru that again so she’s stuck with a tea kettle that doesn’t whistle. Company should NOT be selling defective tea kettles. I want a refund.
