Good Quality
Seems delicate, but I’m treating it carefully and it’s working incredibly well! Easy to clean, makes unadulterated, pure good coffee and tea, brews over 30 ounces. I love this thing.

This is exactly like the photo, a very pretty design and saves time compared to other designs.Coffee grounds come out very easily as the glass is high quality and smooth.
I used it every day and the silicon sleeve in the lid tore after about 2 months. It’s still usable but once the sleeve fails there will be nothing between the glass lid and the metal stem of the plunger, and it won’t be safe to use anymoreEDIT: The seller sent me a replacement, and when I removed the old silicone sleeve I discovered the inner edge of the glass hole was left rough from manufacturing. That sharp rim is what eventually cuts the sleeve. To prevent this, I recommend smoothing the glass hole before first use. Here’s how:1. Pop the silicone sleeve straight out of the glass lid (don’t drag it sideways).2. Wet the glass around the hole.3. Use a fine diamond file (a diamond nail file works) to lightly dull the sharp inner edge. Use small, gentle strokes.4. Follow with 800-grit wet/dry sandpaper to even out the surface.Rinse, dry, and press the silicone sleeve back into the hole. This takes just a few minutes and greatly extends the life of the lid by preventing the glass from cutting into the silicone.
Love this! It’s fragile and you have to be careful but it is non-toxic and so worth it.
I have been using this since the beginning of November 2025, it’s January 14th 2026. A little over 2 months. Well at less than 2 months I was already repairing this piece. The rubber piece that allows the plunger to glide up and down from the lid, keeps coming out of the hole, and now it’s ripping apart. This is my 4th or more time fixing it. It’s going to break completely soon, rendering the entire press operation useless.Shame because I like it otherwise. Holds heat really well for long periods of time, holds a large amount of fluid. Clean up is rather easy. It’s just the rubber seal that holds the plunger in place that is the issue. If it is replaceable it would be a 5 star product.
Less than 6 months and falling apart. I bought this to get plastics out of my coffee routine and the tiny rubber fastener that prevents the metal piston piece from scratching against the glass is always falling off and into my coffee. Ugh! I hand wash it, air dry since I bought it (don’t have a dish washer) and it falls down every time. Soon I imagine it will fall off entirely and I’ll have to worry about glass shards in my coffee. The glass is doing its job though. They just should have put more than the cheapest silicone or rubber on the lid. Disappointed!
Great item, very well manufactured. Unlike conventional models, keeps teas warm longer. Nice appearance make it presentable to guests and parties. However, fragile lead glass design makes it impractical in daily use - takes an effort to keep it from breaking while cleaning.
