It's perfect for my use as preparing small batches of herbal tea for medicinal purposes. It's cheap. It's a small size that keeps me from making too much. The strainer fits perfectly and has tiny holes. It has a rim that stops it from dropping into the cup and allows for easy removal. The cap keeps the heat in. A lot of condensation forms, so you might need to dump that off to prevent getting a ring.... or use it as a coaster. Premium Borosilicate glass is great for the boiling water I put into it. It is sturdy. Although it is not double walled and gets hot, the handle is well crafted and works well for transport. It's see through so you can get a visual read on the brewing.I leave the lid on while it brews, take it off and use it as a coaster while it cools, then remove the strainer and place it on the lid while I drink. Then I pack it all up.

I love this tea mug so much, I purchased another for my Mother. The stainless steel loose leaf tea infuser is nice and thick, and does a wonderful job at keeping loose leaf tea debris from getting into the mug. The infuser has also been easy to clean. I appreciate the lid fitting well, and having a deep lip, keeping it from sliding off and breaking when the mug is moved. It's fast become my favorite tea mug!

An amazing glass tea mug!

I love this mug! I bought the 12 oz version. I wanted a borosilicate mug with a fine mesh basket. I don’t like drinking particles from the loose leaf tea and this basket is perfect for that. It doesn’t let any particles come through. After steeping, the lid can be used to hold the basket which is handy. The glass isn’t double-walled but it surprisingly holds heat well. My tea was still very warm even 30 minutes later. I like watching the tea brew through the clear glass. It’s a very simple, elegant mug. A couple downsides: the glass lid is hot when removing if you aren’t careful and there is no handle on the mesh basket to lift it off the cup. Personally, I don’t find this too bothersome. I would buy this cup again.

If you want to add a delightful experience to your tea drinking use these clear glass mugs. I always used a ceramic mug and never benefited from seeing the color of the tea once ready to drink.
