Pretty and functional
I liked the design of the teapot when I saw it but like it even more after using it.I place the pot with the desired amount of water in it directly on my stove’s burner element and as long as I position it such that the handle isn’t directly above the hot burner it doesn’t get too hot to hold (but best practice would still be to use a pot holder oroven mitt). Do be careful though that the hot teapotdoesn’t rotate downward in your grip as you lift it because the handle forms nearly a perfect circle (so it rotates through your grip) and it’s slick (so it’s difficult to maintain sufficient grip to prevent the pot from rotating downward). An insulated mitt with a silicone grip might be in order. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s warning to wait a minute to add tea to the pot after removing it from the heat in order to prevent a boil over.Despite those very minor issues, it’s a gorgeous vessel and makes very nice tea. The strainer insert’s holes are fine enough to stop even very small sediment from passing through. The teapot is easy to clean; I put it in the top shelf of the dishwasher and wash it on a regular cycle.The 5-ounce teacups are lovely and the double wall design keeps them cool to the touch.The teapot is a conversation piece in its elegant simplicity, too.

Beautiful set
Beautiful set. I have not used the strainer yet so I just remove it. I love that it can go right on the stove. The cups are cute but kind of small. Not sure if it is the design but all of the cups have a sort of raised dot on them. No stains yet on the pot, very easy to clean. May buy another for a gift.

Love this glass tea set
I was looking for a minimalistic-looking glass tea pot that I could use directly on the stove and came with an infuser. This one caught my eye, was a good price and the 4 small glass handle less tea cups was a big bonus. I’ve used regularly for a week with loose tea and tea bags alike and LOVE it. Easy to use, easy to clean and I’ve incorporated it into my new zen centering tea brewing process.

No need to wait!
I have been wanted to get into tea for awhile now and figured this was the perfect gift to ask for around the holiday season. I was nervous since I have an old electric stove top that the glass would break and after reading a couple reviews I figured I would go ahead and try it and this thing handled it like a champ!! No signs of any issues when using it on the coils. I just will go ahead and continue to clean it by hand with soap and water since I don't think the dishwasher is super nice on dishes. I have only used it once but it is a great gift to give and it feels luxurious!
