Very nice stock pot

Good quality stock pot. Lid fits nicely, handles do not get too hot. Cleanup is a breeze. Big enough to make a large pot of soup or chili, but not too big to fit into the sink to wash. I use it often with no issues.

Great size

I like that it’s tall rather than low-rimmed, if you know what I mean. I don’t worry about getting too much in the pot to overflowing because it’s a taller pot. Great for boiling corn on the cob, soups, etc. Doesn’t take up as much room in the cupboard like a lower-rimmed same quart sized pan. Comfortable hold on the handles for lifting when full. Still nice and shiny and cleans up well after a few uses. May not look new forever but stainless steel will last forever. Has no coating to wear off. It’s a must have in your pots and pans collection.

Good value, cleans easily, cooks well

Needed smaller than 12 qt as sink is not large enough to allow easy cleaning of anything larger than 11 inch diameter. i tried a 12 qt and it was too dangerous - too risky due to countertop being chipped potentiallymeasured dimensions:height is 8 inches & about 10 inches with lidwidth including handles is about 14 inchesdiametere at base is 9 inchesdiameter at top is 10 inchesstill working well as of late Oct 2024.i searched a while here & found this brands 10-qt which had the diameter i neededstill wanted larger than 8 qt as i boil dried chickpeas, a staple of my lifafter about a month - about 10 uses .cooks evenly as far asi can tell - w/o a heat meter i would never really know loli preheat fora couple minutes then do the waer beading test prior to adding oilive cooked on outside grill burner which runs hot - its low setting is more like a mediumcooked inside too on gas stoveboiled chickpeas for 2 to 3 hours at a timehave soaked chickpeas overnightusually cook at low to medium but obviously have cooked at high tooeven when making fried rice & i cook too long & food sticks....i just soak for an hour in soapy water and it it easily cleans with a normal scrubby sponge - no brillo pad or steel wool needed. it really does clean easilyto be honest - so does our 8 qt tramontina pot - everything i say about this pot applies to the Tramontina 8 qt potonly reason i didnt buy T brand is they dont make a 10 qt.ive owned t brands 12 qt & it worked just as well as their 8 qtif you dont need 10 qt, id reccomend the tramontina 8 qt stianlesss steel potboth this 10 qt and 8 qt tramontina pot weigh the same which shows the durability potential of the tramontina even thought it is 8 rather than 10 qtamericas test kitchen had the tramontina as their 2nd place but tied with allclad in terms of durability in their banging / denting tests & ive seen reviews saying theve owned their t-brand pots/pans for 30 to 40 yearsanyways, back to this 10 qt pot it is fine for my usagei like that it uses a semi-clad design rather than dics (the tbrands uses tri-ply disc).semi-clad is what im calling it as it is not tri-ply throughtout the entire pot - just the bottom has the alum. core while the sides are dual stainless steelthis design is not any better than disc bottom - it is just their designall-clad pots are fully clad all over so this 10 qt copies that design minus having alum. w/in the sidesdoes it really matter when using it for the manner im using?nopeall that matters is that it cleans easily, cooks evenly and remains flati hope it remains flat (no warping) as every other chinese made pot seems to suffer fromwould i buy their smaller pot/pans? no, as i know they would warpthis pot is heavy enough to where i dont think that will occurgranted, im also treating this with care - not putting in ice cold water immediately after it is boiling hot - this is the test ATK used to see if pot/pan will warp.anyways for a `0 qt size and as a one pot meal cooking pot, it works great for methe glass lid is durable however i wish they would all just give you a metal lid not glassglass always steams over & therefore you cannot see inside despite this brands & all other brands (including tramontina) claims lol. & a metal lid would be much more durable in the long runall in all, this is good for me.

Looks great while being durable

I recently purchased a stock pot, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. This pot is not only nice to look at with its stainless steel color but also impressively sturdy, making it a reliable addition to my kitchen. The first thing I noticed was its solid construction. The thick base ensures even heat distribution, which is essential for simmering soups and stews without any hot spots. I can't wait to make all the holiday foods in it this coming season. The size is perfect for everyday use—large enough to handle family meals but not so bulky that it takes over my stovetop or storage space. It comfortably accommodates a variety of recipes without feeling overwhelming. The generous capacity means I can cook for gatherings without needing to switch pots mid-recipe.Another great feature is the ergonomic handles, which provide a secure grip, even when the pot is full. The lid fits snugly, helping to retain moisture and flavor while cooking.Cleaning is a breeze too; the surface is easy to wipe down and dishwasher safe, which saves me time after a long cooking session.Overall, this stock pot is a fantastic investment for anyone who enjoys cooking. It's durable, perfectly sized for daily use, and offers excellent performance. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable pot that will last for years to come.
