Amazing Quality

This is a superb little tea pot. No issues using it one handed. I bought this specifically for aged high end Pu-erh tea. The flavor is exquisite, really makes a smooth flavorful cup. It looks really good on display as well. Vey happy with the purchase value.

DO NOT BUY

The teapot is beautiful but the spout is terribly designed and always pours onto the pot itself before the stream steadies. This results in hot tea always being miss poured

Great little tea pot, but difficult to use 1 handed.

I bought this to make black tea and it has been excellent for that. It holds 1 large mug worth of tea at a time and brews very well. My 2 complaints, and the only things that prevent it from being 5 star, is that it has a habit of spilling a small amount in the beginning and if you don't hold the lid down and back or down and forward a slight bit then it will create an air seal that prevents it from pouring. Ultimately the second one is a sign of quality in a way, but it should be noted as it makes it hard to pour one handed.

Nice

A good, quality little teapot. Holds just enough water for 1 cup of tea. The carrying bag is a nice touch.

Authentic and elegant design, Excellent heat retention, Poor pouring experience!

The teapot's authentic Chinese Yixing clay construction and classic Xishi pot design are commendable. The yellow clay variant exudes an elegant and rustic charm that adds to the traditional tea brewing experience. The 8oz capacity is ideal for single or double servings of loose-leaf gongfu tea, making it perfect for personal use of small gatherings. One of the standout features of this teapot is its ability to enhance the tea's flavor over time. The porous nature of Yixing clay allows it to absorb the tea's essence, creating a more flavorful and nuanced brew with each use. This seasoning process adds character and depth to the tea, making it a favorite among tea enthusiasts. Regrettably, the notable drawback of this teapot lies in its pouring design. Every time I attempt to pour the brewed tea, I find that the water spills onto the table due to the teapot's spout design. The flow is inconsistent, and it becomes challenging to control the direction and intensity of the pour, leading to unnecessary mess and waste. To overcome this issue, I have learned to pour the tea fast and cautiously, tilting the teapot gently to avoid spillage. While it has become manageable with practice, I must admit that the pouring design can be frustrating, especially during hurried moments or when serving guests.
