Like the pan because it is a premium pan
This premium grill pan has excellent non-stick performance. It cost about $10 more than other options I saw on Amazon, but the non-stick surface seems better made. The wider 8" bottom heats faster and more evenly than other grill pans with narrower bottom I’ve compared.I cook meat on the bottom section and move it to the upper area at about 70–80% doneness; the slope lets excess fat drip down while cooking the rest 30%, making cooking cleaner and easier. I use it daily for breakfast and often for grilling dinner.I also added a $1 silicone pad onto the handle (by stitching on with a needle and thread), which makes it easy to hold the pan while sautéing.Overall, I love this pan—great design, heats well, and performs beautifully.

Great grill but safety issues
While I love cooking with this grill, there is a safety issue if using on a tabletop gas grill as shown in photos of listing. 1. The bottom is smooth and so it slides around when placed on the cooker if you push too hard with a spatula, etc.2. It does not sit high enough for the heat to disperse and so our tabletop cooker’s safety auto-shutoff was triggered when the fuel canister became too hot. This was scary to realize that without the safety shutoff we could have had the canister explode. See photo for the type of cooker. It is shown in this listing, with the grill on top of it. So I thought it was safe to do so.Wrong.3. The packaging says the handles stay cool. This is false. They got extremely hot while cooking. Which we expected since the grill is all one piece and handles have no covering. But someone may not realize since the packaging claims they stay cool.I loved the food we cooked but we won’t be using it on the tabletop grill anymore so that is unfortunate as it was the whole reason I purchased it
