Necessary kitchen tool - no mess, no fuss - great food
I absolutely love it! It has a permanent place on my counter since I use it so much. My only "complaint" is that it needs to be turned up hotter than suggested. It does gorgeous steaks, great chicken, easy fish and delectable vegetables. My husband loves baby canned potatoes. I toss them in melted butter with salt and pepper and grill them on high until spots are golden and potatoes are hot. Never fails to please!The cleanup is amazing. I haven't bothered to put it in the dishwasher. I just use soap and hot water and a brush and it cleans up good as new. The element and external areas just need a damp cloth. I have some slight staining in one area of the under pan from a sticky tomato based barbecue sauce. Probably if I had cleaned it as soon as it had cooled.it wouldn't have stained. (I left it until the next day. Even then everything cleaned up with a little discoloration from the sauce.)DON'T add as much water as they suggest. I use barely a cup just so it covers the bottom of the drop pan. Too much water and it's hard to get out without spilling.The fan really does work to control smells. I did fish and somehow the smell was contained.I like the glass lid although the handle can get hot so use caution. I wish the grill was a little deeper since the lid didn't fit down when I did ribs. Not a problem but it would have been nice to have more space. I cooked the ribs in the pressure cooker and then finished up with sauce on the grill. Yum! Best ribs ever!IWe live in Arizona and it gets hot and windy. Grilling outside was too much trouble. This fantastic grill lets me have the flavor without standing in the weather. Lots more things get grilled now!

I've been craving for some Korean BBQ but with the pandemic virus going around, all establishments are closed. I bit the bullet and ordered this indoor grill from Techwood to satisfy my cravings.1. Packaging. The grill came in packaged securely in a box inside a bigger amazon box. The grill is also tightly and neatly packed and although it came undamaged, I wish it would have came with some styrofoam or some kind of padding inside aside from the pcs of folded cartons. Each piece is separated with cartons to avoid rubbing or contact during shipment.2. Cleaning and Disassembly. The grill can easily be disassembled. We immediately washed ours. The grill plate, the 2nd plate under to direct drippings, and the drip tray can all easily be removed. The heating element is also removable and can be wiped clean.3. Cooking. It doesnt take a lot of time to heat up although it takes a while to cook specially thicker slices. Take your time, it'll get cooked. Thin slices wouldn't be an issue at all and would cook within minutes.4. Features. The grill has a rotating fan underneath that sucks in all the smoke and it sure does not produce any smoke when grilling if the fan is on. Do note that smokeless doesnt mean smell-less so if you plan to cook indoor, be aware that you'll still be able to smell whatever you are grilling throughout the house.5. Flavor. It's pretty similar to grilling food the normal way except there's no smokiness as it's all electric. Other than that, it's perfectly fine if you season your meats well.

Plastic Taste
I love everything about this little grill - except that lingering what I assume to be plastic taste. Has anyone else experienced it and will it go away in time? I don't know if it's from the fan blowing the plastic taste or whether it is the grill itself - not sure what sort of metal it is.Again, the grill performs great and so easy to clean, but I am distracted by that persistent taste.
