I absolutely love this little grease pot. Works great and looks so much better on my stove than a cup with foil covering it. The strainer works great and is easy to clean after it drains. I've used this for a few weeks now and am very happy with it.The only drawback is the bottom tray is a bit small, just barely larger than the base of the pot. I'd have liked a bit more diameter to catch any drips, but I could switch it for a saucer if I wanted. The base looks like a can lid.I bought the 1.25 L /42 oz size. Since I love bacon, it is already nearly full. I use the grease for seasoning pans and cooking, so it will go fast.Over all, I'm happy with it.

VERY FLIMSY and Overpriced

This is a nice product as far as design goes and it works well for what it is designed to do.... drain and store bacon grease. However, it is very, very flimsy. I didn't know they made stainless steel this thin. Mine arrived with a tiny dent and a scratch but is useable because I keep it in a cabinet where it doesn't really show. As far as price goes... for something made this thin I feel it is way overpriced. The metal pan it sits on is a plus, however, I glued a piece of felt on the bottom to insulate the hot grease from burning the bottom of my cabinet. Would I buy it again??? No, not at this price. Maybe if it was half of what I paid I would consider it because I do like the design and it works.

I absolutely love this. I was going to get one of the others that look 'old fashioned' to kind of go with my country theme but I saw this one and thought wait.... I love it. It fits great on the stove and it's handy whenever I've fixed a huge batch of hamburger meat or bacon. I can just pour the grease right in and not have to worry. You can store it in the fridge as well and not have to worry about a mess in there either. I love the drip tray that sets under the lid. Very neat little thing to have :) I've had it for almost a year now and it's still as cute and shiny as the day I got it :)
