Good-looking, wash and keep

I've been using these utensils for a couple of weeks now. My set arrived packed well, with no flaws or discolorations, and match fairly well. They are natural with no varnish or other coating (you don't want that in food!). They've stood up to regular use and washing just fine. I've used a bit of wood block oil on them to preserve the finish/condition of the material.They seem like they'll last a long time, and I love color and grain of the acacia.

They don't match

I had high hopes for this set, but I'm disappointed. They seem to be of decent quality. No splinters or anything like that. But the two pieces are two completely different colors. I know wood comes with lots of variation, but I'm talking two different stain colors, almost. I'll still use them, but they're not the pretty set that I was hoping for.
