I’ve been using these several months now. I did wash them well and bake them a while before using. I haven’t noticed any odor. Muffins pop out easily, as it’s naturally nonstick. They clean up well after use, and seem very durable! Very easy to use!
I bought these because I am looking for better and healthier products to cook with. Food grade silicone is safe, and I wanted to use these to line my nonstick mini muffin/cupcake pan with so nothing is touching whatever it's coated with, as I don't trust it.And I also wanted products that are reusable, so I can save money and create less waste.I'd like to say these worked VERY well. They are just a tad smaller than my mini muffin pan forms, and tapered more towards the bottom, but I don't mind. They are stiff enough to stand up alone if put on a pan and baked that way. I originally bought the multicolored ones but ended up wanting all white instead, so I can match my regular sized silicone cupcake liners. The multicolored ones are a tad stiffer for some reason, which is good if you need that, but I felt like it could possibly be a problem while trying to pull back and remove your baked good, still good liners though.They come in a cute netted bag, but beware that it gets fuzz allover the silicone. Be sure to clean these thoroughly before using. They have a smell that's not to strong, but definitely still there. So I washed these with soap and water, baked them at 325° for 13min, rinsed with water, and baked them one more time for 13min again to clean, disinfect, and get rid of that smell. I've since made a batch of mini chocolate cupcakes and they came out pretty good, VERY nonstick. I found if I roll my fingers across the silicone along the outside while turning, it breaks away easily from the sides of the cupcakes. Then you can just pop them out. Also these are pure white, not "pink" as some have stated.I would buy these again as I've had no issues and they've been wonderful additions to my kitchen. Can't wait to put them to more use!
These silicone baking cups work so well! I’ve always had problems with the paper liners tearing, and I don’t have to worry about them with these. They also save so much money since they’re reusable! Easy to clean also! I love them!
As you can see from the photo, these are considerably smaller than my older regular silicone cups.I did check the sizing before ordering but apparently I can’t visualize size well even with measurements. I’m not using these for baking but for taking supplements twice a day for both myself and my sons. The regular cups are too large and supplements can spill out and miss hands but these mini cups could end up being TOO small :(They appear well made, price point is good because there are a lot of them, and the color appears to be an off white not pink <I don’t care about the color but I know other reviews mentioned it>These came in a mesh bag, which I don’t need, inside a plastic bag, and finally inside an Amazon plastic shipping bag so I knocked a star for those extra things that don’t provide a benefit and will now need recycling and also because a picture of the silicone cups next to each other might prevent other people from ordering these really small mini cups and being disappointed.
The silicone baking cups came in a reusable pouch which I really liked. They are sturdy and easy to clean. I’ve only baked with them twice and so far they are great.
The size is just what I was looking for. The silicone looked stained after I used them, but they look like new after going through the dishwasher. They're heavy duty and I think they'll last for years to come.
So many uses for these. Wife wanted to use in her senty candle heaters to help rid old wax.
