Perfecting the Omish popcorn no PFAS
I've been enjoying organic popcorn in the evenings with Netflix or other streaming service shows for years. It helps me to feel full and keep weight off. But, I learned that the instant pop bags have PFAS in them and that there is correlation to dementia if used regularly.I wasn't enjoying the good taste at first. This container has lines in the base to allow us to perfectly measure our kernels. I'm now onto a good recipe. I fill that to the second line (not much at all) and drizzle a small amount of olive oil over the kernels and shake in lots of "Real" salt. I stir the kernels in this mix so all of them are coated and put this into my microwave for 4 minutes. If you have a high powered large volume microwave, it will probably take less time. With this option, we have a little experimenting to do before perfecting. With the purple Omish popcorn, it works out perfectly. The flavor isn't as strong as the other storebought popcorn, but that is a good thing.I'm glad to have an option with no PFAS. Also, if you happen to have some kernels in the bottom after eating down the popcorn, popping it back in the microwave for a couple minutes pops the rest of them. I'm not interested in losing my memory, so this is a wonderful product well worth the effort to figure out.
