This carafe insulates well and does whatnot's supposed to do. It looks functional, and is. You're not going to use this on the table at high tea, but for a breakfast sideboard, it's perfect. .
This is a really nice coffee carafe. It has nice clean lines and looks good. Easy pour spout with tab to open and pour with one hand.I tested it with Hot water and checked every couple of hours (except overnight) and found that it lost about a degree an hour. That would also be affected by my having to open the top to insert the thermometer. But I'm sure as the level of liquid dropped, that would also affect the length of time the heat was retained.The thermos comes with a nice cleaning brush as well. Should you get any coffee residue that doesn't easily brush out, a sprinkling of baking soda and a bit of water should lift it. That will also help with any residual odor that you may find after using this thermos for coffee.Ultimately it is a great thermos to keep things hot or cold throughout the day. Temperatures will drop (or increase) as the day progresses but most wouldn't plan to keep coffee hot for the next day.I recommend this thermos.

The most important measure of a Thermos is how well it keeps its contents at a constant temperature. This one excels at that. The bonus for this product is how attractive it is on the counter and how easy it is to use and clean.I tested this thermos and it does keep coffee at drinkable temperature all day. When poured full with 185 degree coffee and the top sealed, in a room at about 74 degrees, the contents were at 130 degrees after 24 hours.The stainless steel construction is a snap to clean. A long cleaning brush was included in the package to help. (Hint: to easily clean a carafe that has a dried on coffee film fill it with hot water from a tap, add automatic dishwasher soap (power or liquid), stir with a brush and let sit for a few hours, the film can be easily rinsed out.)The carafe's cosmetics are excellent, too. Very impressed with this carafe! Hot or cold it keeps the temp of the beverage where it needs to be. It works great when entertaining. Put on one of the included stickers & guests can help themselves to a refill or top off. If you are out on the screened porch during the summer you can have a cold refill handy! This is a very beautiful thermo water bottle with a 2-litter capacity, perfect to family use. It has a very neat stainless-steel construction with an enlarged bottom making it unlikely to spill over. The handle is on the top of the bottle, closed to the dispensing lever. That allows the user to lift the bottle and dispense the drink with one hand. Since it is vacuum insulated with double layered stainless steel, you will feel it pretty heavy, but that is necessary to maintain the temperature inside. You can even estimate the thick insulation by comparing the difference between the wall of the chest and outside layers of the bottle. In this winter season, I use it to hold hot coffee for a few people to drink for a whole day. It is quite nice to keep a hot drink hot for a long time. As designed, this bottle is also suitable for cold drink in summer. Another factor to help maintain the temperature is the thick insulated disposing cap as shown in the picture. When the lever is pressed down, the cap will open a small gap to allow the liquid to flow out. As a bonus, this product comes with a washing brush and an ID tag to distinguish this drink from others.
This stainless steel thermos comes with a cleaning brush and a hang tag, which is very convenient. It was ready to use right out of the box after a quick rinse with soap and water. It’s easy to use and clean, and it does a good job of maintaining the temperature for both hot and cold beverages. However, I noticed that the lid’s push-to-pour mechanism can come off if the button isn’t pressed properly in the center. Aside from that minor issue, it works as intended. Overall, it’s an okay product to try.
