A surprisingly great little lunch container!
I wasn’t expecting much at first, but this turned out to be an incredibly useful item. What I love most are two thingsIt keeps my food warm for a long time. The insulated pouch really helps, and the added inner container improves the temperature retention. The design is practical and fun. The top section hides a small foldable spoon, which is convenient when I’m on the go. It’s also much easier to clean than regular lunch boxes, and since it has its own storage bag, I can just toss it in my backpack without worrying about spills. As for the container itself, it works pretty much the way you’d expect from a good insulated food jar. So far, I think its heat-retention ability is excellent. I love using it for soups and stews, and the small inner cup is nice for separating sides. Although it feels compact, the design actually gives you enough room for a proper meal—rice, snacks, or even small hot dishes. The grip feels sturdy but not bulky, and the material has a nice weight to it without being too heavy.Overall, this little food jar is surprisingly well-made and very handy for daily use. I’m really happy with this purchase!

Pretty good
In spite of the dimensions being clearly indicated in the listing, don't be confused about the size. The pictures of people using it makes it look absolutely huge, which it is not. It holds 40 ounces, it's a comfortable size to hold in one hand, and the inserted tray is small. Don't be misled by product photos that make this look like it would hold a full-sized dinner.Best I can tell, it's holding heat adequately and hasn't given me any problems with leaks. I haven't fully tested it yet, but the sidewalls are very thin and while it will hold heat, I wouldn't count on a soup made for lunch still being hot by dinner. The included bag is ok, but would be marginally helpful when compared to the double wall of the jar itself. I guess it's helpful for carrying, but the jar also has a handle. The included spoon is somewhat handy, but you'll probably still want your utensil of choice since this one is flimsy and a bit awkward. Maybe a good choice if you've forgotten your good spoon at home that day. The tray is handy, but any attempt to use the handle was frustrating and inconvenient because the wire handle is just lightly pressed into the tray. It's not like it's a cleaning feature for easy teardown, I think it's just an oversight in design. Either way, I'm not picking up that tray by the handle without supporting it from the bottom as well.

Could be better
I've tried this lunch container a few times and I'm just not impressed. If you are having soup and you want the items on top to stay dry, you'll need to seal them before putting it in the container. If you tip the container over, drop it, have it knocked over....ect...the soup will be in the top part of the holder too.I can carry a salad in it. I normally use kale so having the greens dressed ahead of time will help tenderize the greens, however I don't want to add all the things I put in my salad at the same time. In this instance the top does a good job of keeping things separate. fIt holds enough food for me to have leftovers every lunchtime. But since it is advertised as a Soup Thermo Lunch Container, and photos so soup and additions separate, I don't think it deserves 5 stars.Another think I'm not crazy about is the bag you need to carry it in. If the seal is working well them why is it necessary. I haven't had an issue with the temperature (hot or cold) without the bag. If you need to keep this hot or cold for a really long time, maybe the container would help, and if you are afraid of it leaking the bag may come in handy. For me it's just something else to keep up with.

Hot meals on the go - neat lunch set
This is a neat little insulated can for packing a meal in. It has a main compartment which comfortably holds about 32 ounces or 40 oz. to the brim, and an optional inner bowl that holds 12 oz to its brim. The inner bowl is metal and has a handle like a pail for easy removal. It fits well inside the main container, but does not provide any sort of seal to prevent the two compartments from mixing. It also includes an insulated zipper pouch to carry the cannister in which helps preserve the temperature as well as offer some protection against dents and scratches. The lid has a handle that folds flush, and a little compartment on top that opens to reveal a fold-up spoon. There is a valve which vents into this compartment, so it you're storing liquids inside, you probably don't want to invert the container. It's recommended to hand wash only, and this isn't microwave safe, so if you need to reheat your meal, you will need to keep that in mind. The handle on the top cap is the weakest link in this design. It sits flush, which is nice, but it's slightly inconvenient to flip up, and it's too small for my hand. Also, the plastic isn't very rigid, so the handle tends to come out of the hole, which could result in dropping the food jar. This also means the handle isn't very useful as a lever to twist the lid open. It's not a big deal, but there is room for improvement. I tend to do all my carrying with the insulated bag's handle instead.Over all, this is a neat way to carry a lunch, and it's a good way to have a hot meal at the office, job site, or just having a picnic. You can fit enough food in here for one or two people. Due to dietary restrictions, I often have to bring my own food when eating with friends, and this is a good way to pack a meal and keep near its ideal temperature for a few hours. I tend to heat my meal up a little extra before loading it up so that it will stay heated longer.
