Fantastic. Mostly metal and the plastic parts are at the top where they'll only contact the drink for a millisecond. Keeps drinks hot for a LONG time. Easy to drink out of and close/open. VERY easy to clean. Great size, good price and value.
Love my Thermos Icon! Narrow bottom helps fit smaller auto cup holders. Expanded top allows for easier hand cleaning, top easily pops apart for cleaning, and twist lock ensurs a tight seal. Also, it's dishwasher safe whereas most others are not. Ive measure its capacity at exactly 17 oz. Keeps my tea hot for hours! For some, the twist lock top my be a bit of a distaction especially if driving. I enjoy my tea at home and have developed the avility to open and close the lid with one hand.
I have the 24oz & loved it. So decided to get the smaller one too. I now use this one daily. The brushed stainless really holds up great. I prefer this over my Yeti because of the lid & how it screws down. If you knock it over, the lid doesn't pop off & spill your beverage everywhere. Keeps drinks hot (or cold) just as long as well.
I bought this travel mug to replace my 25 year old one of a similar design. The old one is still great at keeping drinks hot or cold, but the finish is deteriorating. The new mug's matte finish seems like it will hold up like the older one, and the 16 oz size is the same. The exterior design is slightly larger in diameter on the top 2/3, but the bottom fits nicely in a car holder. I love the new color and the improved bottom design with the non-slip feature.It keeps drinks hot or cold as advertised. The newly designed lid is an improvement and leak-proof when sealed. Overall I believe it's a great product and I'm grateful to have one that so closely matches my favorite mug!
I've had thermos before so I purposely was searching only for thermos. I can only drink black coffee hot and this keeps my coffee hot. What I love about this is the lid. Not too many parts, but its still spillproof, so it makes cleaning VERY easy, unlike some other spillproof lids out there that have too many holes and crevices for mold to grow.
I love that this travel mug looks really good and that it's dishwasher safe. The quality seems great, but the downside is that it is so solid that assembly and disassembly is not super easy. The lid is 3 pieces: the main outer rim, the interior dial, and a gasket. The gasket is easy to slip on and off, but the big center dial piece is finicky to get seated. I wish the mug was a little bigger, because if you fill it too high and then snap the dial closed you will get a spray in your face and on your shirt. Also, be sure to not cross-thread or it will obviously leak. It's easy to screw the lid on correctly, but just know that if it's not screwing on really easily, you are cross-threading. Overall this travel mug is really good. I don't know why it's so hard to find dishwasher safe travel mugs.
After researching several high ranking options, I chose this travel cup for my hot coffee. It is made with high quality materials, solid and beautifully made. It is a pleasure to drink from the cup - easy to hold, has a sensibly designed lid with a comfortable stainless lip. I chose the red cup due to the price being lower than the other colors. It’s not the same red as shown — really more of a dark brick color.
