Works great! I use it for tamping/espresso prep because I’m afraid of ruining my countertops. The mat is thick and fits perfectly on the edge of my counter. It stores easy in my drawer when not in use and is easy to clean.

It takes the daily beating of tamping and protecting the granite countertop below. It washes off easily. Silently it waits for the next beat and slap. Quietly doing its job. It has no feelings. ~$10. No sweat and no mess.
I was concerned the product might not be substantially thick. I am glad to report the mat is a solid performer.
Thick durable easy-to-clean espresso mat.Previously grinds would get everywhere while I made my morning coffee. Also taping the portafilter on the counter was loud and I worried about chipping the counter or damage to the portafilter. So I started looking for a tamp mat. I ordered several mats to feel and compare. I kept this mat because it was the heaviest and thickest. The only downside was the front lip was too long, and when I opened the drawer it would catch the mat and pull it off the counter. So I trimmed 1/4" off the front lip with an exacto knife and now it is perfect. The mat feels nice smooth but grinds stick to it. When I'm done I can walk over to the sink rise the mat, wipe it off, and it is good to go for the next shots to pull.

It’s a mat! It’s easy to clean. Fits all my puck prep equipment perfectly. Good quality for what you pay for!
