Great scale that has proven to be reliable
Have been using the scale for several weeks, merely for weighing beans before grinding and them timing during brews. Battery has not been an issue, still running on the initial charge while relying on sleep mode when not in use (haven't been using the physical switch, which apparently was problematic on earlier models). Issues have arisen, however -- the timer button senses a finger touch even without being physically touched, so I've had to avoid even moving a finger over that area inadvertently, and today it randomly shut itself off while timing. Not fun in the early morning hours when making coffee.Edited to add: Seems to have been a fluke or perhaps even normal auto-off timing, so I have added another star, and thumbs up so far.Edited again after several months to say that I've had zero problems and the scale has been great. Added another star.

Battery is great, very easy to operate and turn on, timer function, zero function, etc. all seamless. Turns off automatically when I forget to. Only complaint regarding the energy saver is that it times out pretty quickly. When using for French press I have to turn on and turn off again to start the timer, because between weighing the beans and starting the timer, the scale goes to sleep. Might be a way to change this setting, but it might not be worth it since I'm getting long battery life as a result... bought it well over a month ago, have used it almost every day, and haven't charged it once...

Better than scales costing twice as much.
Absolutely great! I previously bought a Varia AKU scale. It worked great on the countertop but simply would not stop counting up when placed on the tray under the portafilter to measure a shot. I tried all kinds of different solutions, yet almost every time, it would simply start counting up before I even started the brew. Incredibly frustrating. Enter the Timemore scale (at half the price). I have been using this for many months now. Always works, accurate, easy to recharge, fast to respond to weight changes. I'm sorry I didn't buy this one first. It's such a great product.

Good scale
All coffee scales should have flow rate at this point. its a great metric thats been helpful for my manual espresso. The 3 gripes i have a these:1. The rubber drip tray is designed very well but the edges are still open. They should design the ridges to make ALL the liquid run off the back edge, instead of the switches still being exposed.2. The touch buttons have any feedback whatsoever. There needs to be something to show that the timer has started, without having to wait for the clock to start going. Maybe the screen can brighten up a touch everytime theres a touch input detected.3. Tare takes too long. I find myself staring at the scale for a few seconds too long to make sure it's zeroed out.Overall a great scale so far. It feels well made, the lights a a great brightness, and even though its branded as a basic scale, there is a lot of room to make this the perfect scale.

Stopped working after a few months
This was a great little scale for about 6 months until it started giving entirely incorrect readings. I had used the scale about once a day since buying it and it very suddenly started to fail.Readings change by 5-10% when picking up mug and placing it back down with no change to contents. Even without moving item on top of scale, the weight will slowly drift by several grams.At this point it has become unusable as a coffee scale so I’m going to see what I can do about replacing it through Amazon/ manufacturer. Unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only person seeing this type of failure. Very disappointing
