A perfect coffee grinder but it is not portable
The grinder is just amazing, a little bit heavy but the way it grinds the coffee beans it is just perfect for every method. Maybe the down size of it, is the ground coffee reservoir which is made of plastic. It generates too much static. The grinder arrives before the date scheduled and the design is just beautiful.

For Extreme fine tuning / heavy lil thing!
For the timemore portable conical burr coffee grinder.Nice grinder that is definitely for people that want to Fine Tune their grind! I found the amount of "clicks" to be excessive (100s?) and difficult to keep track of. The setting instructions not clear requiring chat gpt help to understand. It's also a lot heavier than expected as I planned on traveling with it including air travel. For the money/weight I ultimately decided to go with Nuttii grinder for home espresso machine / drip coffee and returning this one.

Is this Portable Conical Burr Coffee Grinder any good?
PROS:- High-Quality Precision: I am very impressed with the consistent grind quality; once I dialed in the settings, it provided the perfect fine grind for my daily espresso shots.- Effortless One-Touch Operation: I love that I just have to push a button and it automatically stops once all the beans are ground, making my morning routine much smoother.- Compact and Portable: This is a huge win for my campervan lifestyle; it takes up very little counter space and is easy to pack away for travel or camping.- Long-lasting Battery: I’ve found that the battery lasts a very long time between charges, which is essential when I'm off-grid and can't always plug in.- Quiet and Efficient: Compared to other electric options, this unit is surprisingly quiet and grinds my beans quickly and easily.- Sleek Aesthetic: It looks great sitting on my counter, especially next to my portable espresso machine, and the high-quality materials feel premium in my hand.- Easy Maintenance: The design makes it simple to clean, and a quick shake before opening helps ensure all the grounds come out of the burrs.CONS:- Limited Capacity: I’ve noticed it really only works for single or double cups; if I needed to brew a full pot for a group, this wouldn't have the hopper space.- Initial Learning Curve: It took me about a month of trial and error with different settings to find the exact grind size that worked for my specific machine.- Slower than Plug-in Models: While it is efficient for a portable unit, I noticed it is naturally a bit slower than a full-sized, corded electric burr grinder.VERDICT:The Timemore Portable Electric Grinder is a luxury item that actually delivers on its promise of portability and precision. It is the perfect bridge for me between a tedious manual grinder and a bulky home unit. While it isn't meant for large batches, the auto-stop feature and consistent espresso-fine results make it an essential tool for any coffee lover on the go.

Leveled up my espresso shot and meets every one of my grinding needs!
I've been shopping for a grinder to use alongside my Outin Nano portable espresso machine for over 6 months now. I'd been using a Nespresso pod in my portable espresso machine all this time, despite the Nano coming with a portafilter to use your own ground beans in. To be transparent, this is my first espresso machine in over 10 years so this past year I've gone through the learning curve again on how to make a good espresso. I live most of the time in a campervan as I travel the country so having something portable is important to me. I thought I was going to go with a manual grinder, but I've been eyeing a couple of electric options, including this Timemore grinder. I decided I needed to just make a decision because I honestly didn't know what grind size would be best for my Nano and for my preferences and I was getting caught up in all of the specifications instead of making a decision. Now that I've had and used the Timemore Whirly 01S for a month, I am very pleased with my decision. I don't have another grinder to compare with so maybe I'm missing something I don't know about, but honestly, this does everything I need so easily and so well. There was a learning curve where I had to try different grind settings to figure out what worked best for my Outin Nano and gave me the taste that I wanted. I feel like I now have all the settings dialed in for my espresso setup and the Whirly has been very consistent in providing perfectly ground coffee for my daily espresso shot. It is very easy to use once you figure out your grind settings. While there may be other grinders that are faster or quieter or whatever other comparison might be made, I'm impressed with how quickly and easily this grinds beans for me! It's been easy to clean as needed and seems like it will last a long time. I also think it looks really cool sitting next to my Outin Nano. I have a full coffee station on my counter in my van, which is a big deal when space is so limited. But the Nano and Whirly are essentials for me and it is amazing that I can have such a high quality grinder and high quality espresso machine that are both portable, easy to use, and easy to maintain.

Expensive for what it is.
Expensive for what it is but has great grind quality and consistency.Very slow grind. If you're impatient, this is not the grinder for you.Read the "getting started," guide or you'll find yourself scratching your head about the design.
