Works great for fermenting
Great crock. Worked perfect for sauerkraut. It held three cabbage heads without any problem.

Great crock. Worked perfect for sauerkraut. It held three cabbage heads without any problem.
Excellent purchase! Still learning but my first batch of sauerkraut came out pretty good! It's excellent for gut repair and health! Highly recommended! Next batch I'll use organic cabbage. Important: be sure to check the water seal daily.
Works great!
Love this, works great. Made some great sauerkraut.
Crock is is fine, but the weights/stones are too large. If the crock is filled 3/4 full (with cucumbers for example) then it is impossible to rotate the weights 90 degree so that they are flat/horizontal. The top of the crock is not wide enough to insert the weights horizontally; therefore, they must be rotated vertically. If the crock is 2/3 to 3/4 full there is not enough room in the crock to rotate the weights to the horizontal. Fortunately, I have smaller weights from a 1 gallon crock of a different brand; these will rotate after inserting vertically into a 3/4 full crock.
Just did our first batch of sauerkraut and this works perfectly. We got ten quart sized jars yield. Well worth the price.
They failed to include any written instructions on product use. Why do I need to go online to see how to use it? Looks like quality materials but No Instructions!
