Dishwasher safe and sturdy
I have been looking for a long time for a dishwasher safe cutting board and finally, I found a good one. This cutting board is made from titanium and a very durable wheat straw polypropylene which does not mark up and scratch when cut. It isn't too heavy, but quite solid.The wheat straw side has a channel for collecting the juices from meats, keeping your counter safe and dry. Adding to the functionality, a ribbed section on this side helps keep larger pieces of meat in place while you cut. The titanium side helps give cleaner cuts to fibrous vegetables and wipes off easily if you need to cut multiple items in a row before cleaning. Neither side holds onto strong smells such as garlic or onions and the entire unit easily washed up in the dishwasher.A knife sharpener built into the side is a great added touch as I don't have to go looking for mine and can quickly shape up my knife if I find it dull as I work.All in all this is a great cutting board.

This two sided titanium and wheat straw board feels ideal for a small kitchen. The footprint gives enough room to prep without taking over the counter. The titanium surface shrugs off stains and knife marks, while the wheat straw side feels gentler on blades and has a more familiar cutting feel. Overall it comes across as light, sturdy, and cleaner than the old plastic boards it replaced.The juice groove does a good job catching liquids so it does not drip across the counter, and it rinses clean quickly.
