I just purchased this pan recently and so far I am very pleased with its quality. I have an electric stove top, and haven’t had issues with the handles getting overheated or melting so far. The non stick surface has been holding up so far in its first week of use and it has been easy to clean.I can easily cook several eggs in it at one time, or anything else. I will be using this pan a lot so I am happy that it seems quite durable and it’s holding up well so far.I am thinking of buying more pots and pans now after trying out this year pan. It’s got some weight to it so it feels pretty sturdy and well built. It is a little expensive, so I hope it lasts a long time. There could be issues with the rubber handles if you have a gas stove if you have the flame up high. I don’t have a gas stove so not a concern for me.
I really enjoy this frying pan. I was looking for a nice quality pan and was tired of the poor quality pans in the big box stores. I wanted something thick, non-stick, and good quality, but I was worried about the Teflon as it has been known to carry the carcinogen PFOA. When I found this pan, I decided to give it a try. It is thick, heavy, and feels great in the hand. The handle is cool to the touch, and it is non-stick. It is also made of titanium, which meant I would not have to worry about the health effects and my family. I like that the pan is easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and makes cooking fun and easy again!
I really like this pan a lot. The pan is heavy aluminum with an excellent non-stick coating on it. I've used my pan for a couple of months now and haven't scratched it at all, so I do believe they are scratch resistant. I'm a huge fan on Woll pans, but these Saflon ones so far are just as good as the Woll except 1/4 the price. The only reason I gave them only 4 stars is because the description is slightly deceptive. This pan is made in Turkey. The company may be from England, but they are leading you to believe they are made in England. They aren't. All of the Saflon pans I've gotten have come from Turkey. They still are excellent quality pans and excellent value for that quality. They're definitely worth buying if you're in the market for some non-stick pans.
Only had it for two days now. Read the directions ans seasoned the pan. Just a tiny drop of oil sread on the pan and then heat the pan for one or two minutes. Or you can cook some bacon and wipe it after it cools. I have a cast iron pan and eggs sometimes do not love the cast iron as far as clean up goes. This Saflon Titanium pan is great. I have cooked eggs, and cheese omelets, they come out perfect and no sticking. I just wiped the pan down with a paper towel once it cooled down. So easy. Nice looking pan as well. No problem with smell or the handle melting like some have reported. Although it is an 11" pan and the handle stays away from the flame. Well worth the money. A quality product
A bit early to address all issues, especially the coating. I found the pan had excellent heat distribution, great for an omelette. Easy to hold. Really well made. And great non-stick surface, which hopefully will last better than my last 8-inch pan from a highly rated company. The shape gives a larger surface to work on than most pans of this size. The penalty is the high sides that make it hard to turn eggs , for example, without breaking. So not good for crepes. If it holds up well, I’ll get a crepe pan!I would like a fitted lid, as the one I have rolls off. But overall, a nice product which will look good in any kitchen and work well in many applications.
This pan scares the crap out of me. Every single time I've used it, it fills the house with a horrible, pungent chemical smell. Like burning plastic. But it's not the plastic handle. It's the pan itself. (Please note, I DO NOT put this over high heat ever.) Three hours after I tried to use it tonight, it's cool, and it's clean, after I threw everything in it in the trash. It's sitting on my desk. Cold. And the chemical smell is overpowering. My husband is olfacatorily challenged, and he couldn't stand it either. I cannot believe that this is healthy, or even safe.
