Finally a cake carrier that is tall enough for my cakes. I love that it will hold two pies and or cupcakes. The carrier is a pretty red color. It’s great that it has a compartment to carry utensils in our paper plates.
I bake a lot, and lately have been making taller cakes that wouldn't fit in my old cake carrier. This one fits my taller cakes with room to spare. I love the anti-slip mats, rack, and insulated carrier bag that come with it. My only complaints are that the cupcake holder only holds 11 cupcakes (what are you supposed to do with the 12th cupcake?), and the small pins on the base that line up with holes on the lid are a little annoying to have to line up in order to fasten the lid on (even though I know it helps keep the lid from spinning around). I was nervous about spending this much on a cake carrier, but I think it was worth it.
I’m so excited to have purchased this cake cooler carrier. I bake cakes for my family every birthday. Most live at least two hours away. In the summer I’ve had cakes latterly melt. With this carrier it has slip resistant pads so cake does not slid around. The cover locks into place. I place small ice packs around cake and it stays cold all day if need be, it’s well made . The size is great. I recently do a ten inch three layer cake and it fit perfectly. This comes with a cupcake tray and also a pie rack for transporting two pies. There is a storage pocket for utensils, napkins, anything that you might need to serve the cake this is ideal and the price is well worth it.
This item puts an end to an ancient problem. Now moving cakes from one place to other is very comfortable, it keeps the sensitive away from heat and let everybody enjoy.
