Great fit
These worked out great (so far) in my cheese slicer. The 5 wires came with a set of screws. The fit is a little tight to start out, but in this type of slicer it should be. If the wire was loose, it would not work correctly. I feel the price for what yiu get is very reasonable. Hopefully these last a long time, but given the need I would purchase again

Too short
It was described as fitting my brand of cheese slicer and it was the correct style but it was a fraction too short for an easy replacement.

Requires M3 screws. The Bellemain slicer has 2.5 mm screws
The Phillips head screws that hold the wires in my old Bellemain cheese slicers bought some years ago have 2.5 mm (M2.5) threads. The original wires for those slicers break, sometimes very quickly (within the 1 year warranty). Sometimes they last for several years. The Phillips recess in the Bellemain screws is tiny and a bad fit for my USA screwdrivers, making it difficult to tighten or remove the screws. I currently have four Bellemain slicers because each comes with a spare wire and we bought new slicers in order to get repair wires. We were down to two slicers with good wires and I wanted to get another spare wire. I found this set of five wires that were supposed to fit my Bellemain slicers, so I decided to try them. I like that the loops at the ends of the new wires are dipped in solder to keep the loops intact. The first thing I discovered was that the M2.5 screws in the Bellemain slicers are too small to fit these wires. I have mechanical skill and determined that the new wires need 3 mm (M3) screws. The slicers get washed, so the screws have to be stainless steel. My own workshop did not have the right screws, so Amazon was searched. I found the screws I needed and selected the type that has a hex socket button head. I had to buy a plastic box of 420 pieces in assorted sizes to get 4 screws, but I am OK with that. The next challenge was to actually install the new wire. I found they fit the Bellemain slicers, but require uncommon tools to get the brass pieces into the square holes in the slicers. The first brass piece needed a parallel jaw pliers to force the brass piece into the slicer's square hole. I needed needle nose pliers to get the second brass piece started into the second square hole and then the parallel jaw pliers to get it all the way into the hole. Then you need to decide what length screw your slicer needs. Even though all of my slicers came in Bellmain packaging, one needed 6 mm long screws and the other needed 8 mm long screws. You need a 2 mm hex key for these screws and the key does not come with the screw kit. Once the wires were installed and the screws were tight, the wires were properly taught and the slicers were ready to work. So, if you are willing and able to do the required work, the wires will fit a Bellemain cheese slicer. We will not actually begin to use one of the new wires until the old one we are using breaks, so I cannot say how long the new wires will last.I gave the wires 4 stars because of the need to buy screws to fit them and the need for tools that many people will not have. Here is the M3 screw kit I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSX4L42C?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1If you do not have an antique parallel jaw Eifel Plierench (see picture), Knipex makes a very good quality substitute, which I also have. Amazon sells them. There are a few other cheaper parallel jaw pliers available, but I do not own any and cannot say whether they are good tools. Metric hex keys, including the 2 mm size, are easy to find on Amazon. I use the Bondhus (USA) brand.

Sweet. Works great.
These were a bit tricky to install, had to use a vise very gently squeeze to apply wire. But seems to be tighter than the original wire that was on cheese slicer.

useful
Nice to have available since the original will always eventually break, especially when used for firm cheese like cheddar.
