Perfect covered marinade tray with removable cover that doubles as a serving tray. Well-made from melamine, it's dishwasher safe (although I only hand wash mine). The marinade tray is red colored and the serving tray is white.

Perfect for marinating Flank Steaks
I already have two of these grilling trays in the original large size, but found myself cooking less for the whole family this past year. I was excited to receive this smaller tray because the size fits my needs better and as a nice bonus it has a marinade tray that stacks underneath. I've used it once to marinade some chicken breasts with a soy sauce base and it cleaned up just fine with no staining. I don't typically marinate meats, however, and have also found the base handy for carrying out the raw meat and putting the grilled finished meat on top. That's what I do with the original two-piece tray set I have--stack them. One for the raw meat, the bottom (clean) tray is for the cooked product. No cross-contamination risk. As I've only had this set for a few days I can't speak for its longevity, but I've had my large trays for about four years now and they're still going strong and look basically the same as the day I unboxed them. A word of caution--melamine will get EXTREMELY hot in the microwave, if you're unaware. It will BURN you. Don't put this stuff in the microwave or oven. It's totally fine in dishwasher though.
The bottom red tray leaks at one end. Marinade ended up all over counter. I just want to have it replaced but there is no option on Amazon now to contact seller regarding defect since order is past return date.
Perfect Medium size Serving trays for any event, not flimsy at all!This package of 2 prep and serve trays, will be perfect for the outdoor barbecue and marinating, they will also be great for any foods being served!The sturdiness of these trays feels amazing, I feel that they can hold quite a bit of weight if needed.It is nice that you have 2, one for the raw food and one for cooked food, as that is always an important part of my cooking.The grooves on both trays keeps the food from sliding, very easy to clean.I will use these for my every day use as I am always needing a small tray to carry food or for presentation when serving.
