The best tongs around

I use tongs every single day and I am picky. These are the perfect tongs. They have the right amount of spring and tension and don’t get overly loose, and they’re strong enough that you can easily perform tasks like tossing big pots of pasta or turning over cuts of searing meat with ease. The silicon tip is durable and strong and doesn’t melt, and I also love the built-in rest on the side. It also closes easily and has a strong lock so it stays closed when it’s in the drawer. I had my first one for more than 10 years and just bought a second for when it’s in the dishwasher because life’s too short to use disfunctional tongs for even a day. I have lived and I have learned.

Highly recommended silicone tongs; best I've used

I've tried many silicone tongs (all of the Joseph Joseph Elevate series) which I haven't been satisfied with, but landed on these. I've since purchased 2. These tongs are very sturdy, the arms do not bend at all, the feet help it stand up sturdily and do not topple (the Joseph Joseph ones topple when trying to stand them in the closed position, a key reason I was not happy with them). My only comment would be that I wished they were a bit longer (or had a variation which were longer by say 2 inches). The current length provides for a good balance between cooking in the kitchen and going in the salad bowl on the dining table, but I would've preferred a longer one for the kitchen and slightly shorter one for salad. Locking mechanism took a bit of use to allow the metal grind to the right shape and hold more easily, but that wasn't a big concern. Highly recommend.

These are very useful in cooking or frying, in a wok or pan. With the handle pushed it acts as tongs for turning over pieces of meat, fish or vegetables, and with the handle pulled out it acts as a wooden spoon would for stirring or stir-frying. Overall good tongs

The reason that I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is that it's somewhat difficult to open and close. The locking/unlocking mechanism is not smooth. Otherwise, this pair of tongs work well. It can pick up individual strands of angel hair pasta out of a pot. The silicone rest on the handle is very convenient, preventing the counter from getting dirty.

These are holy grail tongs

I love these so much. They are super sturdy, very high quality, all around nice tongs. Easy to clean, and dishwasher safe if you are so inclined. As long as you don't cut or burn the silicone they will last a long time. I have had another pair for nearly 10 years, and they are still in great shape despite having a bit cut off the tip in the great rib mishap of 2022.
