Ok you know how some hotels say no outside Hotspot or tea kettles...well I got this little Hotspot for that very reason. Looks like a thermos. Work fabulously. Heats water fast and holds heat well. Price good delivery quick Very easy to pack. Easy to make hot drink and travel with. Doesn't leak. Would recommend. Makes two cups of hot drinks
This works great in my work truck, a 2025 Chevy Silverado with a power outlet rated at 400 watts max. My electric water kettle from home would trip the circuit instantly. Plugged this little guy into my trucks outlet and it worked, getting to 212° in just over 16 minutes. When plugged in at home on regular power, it was twice as fast and hit 212° in just over 8 minutes. It doesn't maintain temperature, so once it hits it's desired temp, it'll shut off, and the water will begin cooling down. It took about 5:45 minutes to drop from 212° to 200°, which is the temp I like for coffee. It also fits in my cup holder, which is about 2.5". I chose this model for the 316 stainless steel and the slightly larger capacity vs other models I saw, most others were 304 stainless steel and about an ounce or two less capacity. I also like the blue color, but would choose black if they made it. I also wish it came with a black power cord for the blue model, but it uses a standard Mickey mouse plug and I had a black one at home that worked. I've attached a video of it heating up water in my work truck, but it's water that I had already heated which may make it seem like it's heating extremely fast. I have no real complaints though, it looks great and it doesn't leak, I'm satisfied.Edit: I had to take it down one star because it is advertised at 16.9 ounces, which is technically achievable if you fill it to the brim. However, there is a line inside for the recommended MAX filling, and this comes out to 14 ounces. I'm not sure what will happen if you boil at 16.9 ounces, filled to the brim, but it may start spilling out of the top vents. The safe bet is to consider this a 14 ounce kettle going by their own line for Max fill, which I've added a picture of.
I use this at work- for teas etc. it has been great for daily use. Easy to clean. Easy storage (smaller than a kettle). Does take a few minutes but timing is fine for what I use it for..

The unit looks good, boils water fast, and keeps water at a set temperature when plugged in. We use this to keep water for baby bottles ready to go at the 113 degrees setting. That’s a little high but we just mix with room temp water to get it down to 102 F. The lid is fairly simple and doesn’t look like there’s a lot of room for mold/growth. Doing a quick boil will steam sanitize it.The unit does boil water. It becomes pressurized when you boil water with the lid on and it pushes a fair amount of steam out the top. You have to keep your hands away and give it a couple minutes after boiling for pressure to dissipate. I can carefully open the lid right away after boiling but it’s risky as a burst of steam will come out from under the lid.The silicon collar isn’t bad and can be removed for cleaning. I’m pretty sure it helps create a no-leak seal with the lid so it should stay on.Condensation forms under the lid and will drip down the side when you open it.The silicon tab to cover the plug is attached under the plug so water can drip into the plug. A much better design would be to attach it over the plug and have divert drips away from the plug.The button is touch sensitive (not mechanical) and can be finicky sometimes. I can’t tell if it’s in error or just how it works, but I am always able to make it work. I power cycle it if it’s being a pain.Despite some small issues, still five stars!
This is convenient for travel and works perfectly for heating water. It would be wonderful to have a similarly handy device made specifically for warming milk as well.
