This is written with my Siri, so please excuse any strange words. I have extremely low vision and now my hands are having a problem. This allowed me to grip the top of the jar without an issue get it open. It’s very easy and very smooth and I would recommend it. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
Not quite as nice as I'd hoped. Handles are OK, but it takes both hands to open the commercial quart pickled asparagus jars. This means you need 2 people to do it. One holds the jar; the other does the handles, as you can't grab both handles with one hand. So, it's not great, but it will work. Would have liked thicker coating on the handles, and for them to open wider, to make it easier to grab the lid firmly. Since it's almost impossible to find something to open this type of jar, I'm keeping them. After all, that was the reason I got them.
Very easy to open with hardly any effort. Has a nice grip as well.
I bought this to replace one I've had for years that had broken and was falling apart. I love the way you can use the prongs on the end to put under the edge of lids and pop them to break the vacuum. It has multiple layers that allows it to fit over lids of various sizes.
I love that it is very lightweight and has grips on the handles. It’s amazing how many different sizes of containers can easily be opened. I have it in my art room to open paint bottles, glue containers, jars of glaze, and more. Because it’s so lightweight, I stuck it on a magnet that is on my metal cart so it’s always handy.
What did I like about the product? Everything! I wanted a blue handle to match my appliances. The red was easier to find. I love it. Some bottles & jars are very difficult to open. With the "gripper " no problem, as I have arthritis! Great value!
