Don’t waste the money if you need new straws, just cut your losses and buy a new cup. For the price, I expected better quality. The straw doesn’t stay in place. For these, they were more of a nightmare than a help. If you like the kids’ Owala cups, then just replace the whole thing. I hope at some point they will have replacement pieces. I wanted to love these straws, but for me, they were a 0/10.
Great replacement lid. It’s leakproof, easy to clean. The straw can be removed which is different than the original lids but I think it makes for better cleaning.
This replacement lid snapped onto the kids tumbler without any fighting, which already puts it ahead of most kid cup accessories. The fit feels solid and secure, not loose or wobbly, and the straw lines up clean instead of leaning like it gave up on life. My kid immediately noticed the color and claimed it as “the good cup,” which tells you everything. We’ve tossed this thing into backpacks, cup holders, and the backseat floor and it holds up. No leaking surprises when it tips over, which is huge because nobody wants to clean juice out of a car seat. The straw has just enough firmness to keep its shape but still feels soft on little mouths.Cleaning is easy too. It comes apart without feeling flimsy, and everything rinses clean without weird corners trapping milk smell. It also survives the dishwasher without warping or fading, which is clutch for busy days.
This lid replacement is compatible with the Owala Insulated cup and fits securely enough for everyday use. While it’s not an exact match to the original Owala lid in look or feel, it still does the job well and functions as a reliable substitute. The quality is solid for a replacement part. The plastic feels durable and sturdy, and it’s reassuring that it’s dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning simple for daily use. Once attached, the lid feels stable and doesn’t feel flimsy or loose. In terms of functionality, the leak-proof design works as intended, helping prevent spills and keeping dust out when the cup is tossed into a bag or used by kids on the go. It seals well enough for normal drinking and travel use.Overall, if you need a functional replacement lid and don’t mind that it’s not identical to the original, this is a good value option that gets the job done without spending extra on a branded replacement.
This kid fit well on my kid’s Owala cup, and it’s relatively the same as the original lid, although I was a little taken aback with the detachable straw. It works well for drinking, but my toddler likes to carry his cup by the straw itself and it didn’t take very long for the straw to pop out and for water to spill everywhere.I enjoy the way it comes apart for ease of cleaning, but that’s sort of where the enjoyment ended for me…Does it fit? Very well. Does it work? Yes.If your toddler likes to bit or pull on straws, this may not be the most “leakproof” replacement option out there.
I bought this item thinking that it would be just like the lid for my owala cup. It fits but the top part of the straw comes out easily. The rubber piece is 2 pieces and not just one.
