Splatter screens are as described, well made. A good buy.
These splatter screens are well made. The welds look OK (a little rough but adequate), the screens are tight, and they seem sturdy -- no flex, even with the 13" one.The design -- with the handle extending in a 'Y' shape to the opposite side of the hoop -- is much sturdier than those with a handle that is tack welded on just the one side (2 welds vs 4).The 'Y' design reduces stress at the point where the handle is attached and also makes the hoop less likely to bend. In addition, it provides 4 "feet" to rest the splatter screen on the stove or counter without getting grease everywhere.My wife used it for the first time today and said it did a great job at eliminating splatter from bacon.It was easy to clean as well.As with most product reviews, this is an initial impression. It would be very helpful if Amazon prompted customers to write or update reviews annually to get an idea of durability. I'll try to remember to add to this if anything changes.

This is a great product very well-made and after I’m done using them I just thrown them in the dishwasher and they come out like brand new and it holds about 98% of the oil in the frying pan. Can’t go wrong there so I highly recommend them. I had old ones that were very flimsy, but these are very sturdy. I guarantee you you’ll like them and at a good price as well.
