Keeping that Apron Close to the chest, along with your other cards, the recipe cards!
I have made aprons before so I wasn't sure about the crossed strap idea for an apron. But the traditional style of neck apron gets annoying after about the third hour rubbing on your neck. (No I am not wearing a collared chefs jacket.) The main fabric for the apron is a mostly poly / cotton blend, tag says 80/20. I would not use this apron in an open flame situation e.g. : grilling, smoking, or the notorious banjo burner turkey fryer! 80/20 blend like this usually have a melting point of 260 deg F, think about that when putting the cake in a 350 degree oven.Fit wise I tried my best to do a front tie but my men's pant size 40 body would not allow that. The ties secure to the apron on one end with snaps and then are fed through one of the rings. Switching the tie to the back is a bit more annoying securing wise, but it does keep the herringbone webbing away from blocking the pockets. Something that my 5'5" height causes in this style apron. Speaking of pockets I did like the two large and two small on the right side pockets. The larger of the two small pockets is perfectly fit for a Thermoworks Thermapen One thermometer (someone did their homework in design!) https://a.co/d/hA6kRdoI wear a 42 size suit jacket and this apron provides good coverage in front, without impeding arm movement forward e.g.: sauteing, dicing, or frosting a cake. At the top is roughly 10 inches wide. So check you personal armpit/spacing and see about comfort. Length wise it falls just below my knee, and past the side seam on pants for side coverage. I would have liked a pen/marker pocket mid chest but for an apron that goes for less than 20 bucks yet still looks good I can just use the lower pockets for that. The flip side of not having a pen pocket is that if you want embroidered names, logos or patches on the front this apron has plenty of space for that. The top 2 inch edge is doubled so it would it make a good spot for name embroidery. Last bit and not a gripe, the color is a smidge darker than shown on my laptop screen. They are calling it a rust red, it is more like a dark tomato sauce or paste red.I showed the apron to the ladies who usually prepare meals at where I work and they liked the quality/weight of the fabric. They also appreciated the multiple pockets, and lack of neck strap. They also immediately asked if "we were getting new aprons? and hay that looks nice!"I like the Apron. It is professional looking, and I will further test it out maybe cooking lunch where I work. (and seeing what the other cooks think of it!)

Practical, Yet Elegant
This cross-strap apron is made of a canvas-y fabric, 80% polyester and 20% cotton, and has 4 pockets (2 small and 2 large) with brass hardware. The large pockets are 7 inches wide and range from 6 inches to 7 inches tall as the pocket changes in height when comparing the left and right sides. The apron measures at 31.5 inches wide and 21 inches long from armpit to hem. There is a thin strip of fabric in the upper left corner of the fabric that you can use to clip a pen or other small item onto. The shoulder straps are separate from the apron portion (each strap measuring at 69.5 inches long), which is great as you can switch out the straps for other materials if wanted.The straps are great since the length allows the apron to fit a wide variety of people. The pockets are big enough to hold a variety of items such as pens, notepads, recipe cards, phones, calculators, kitchen utensils, small oven mitts, spices, labels, or any other small item you want to have handy! This apron can be used outside the kitchen for other activities when you want a barrier in front of your clothes such as painting or gardening.Fits nicely on my husband (5'11 230 lbs) and fits with quite some room on me (5'5" 200 lbs). On my husband, the hem of the apron was on their upper thigh and on me the hem was mid-thigh.

This apron is a nice masculine version of your typical kitchen apron.
I was tired of borrowing my wife's apron when I cooked and wanted my own. This apron fits the bill so I can cook and not ruin my clothes without looking like my wife :)There is the apron and two straps in the box. What to do with them though, there are no instructions. I had to come back to the product listing and take a look at the picture. Each strap has a loop with a snap. You snap each of those in the front. Then one strap goes through the back buckle on the opposite side. You do the same with the other strap. Finally, you put the apron on over your head and the straps come around front where you tie them.The apron itself is long enough to cover my thighs and comes just above my knees. I am 5'11".The material is like a heavy cotton, not as thick as denim, but thick enough to block spills and splatters.This apron is a nice masculine version of your typical kitchen apron.

Great quality, simple apron that gets the job done
I love the dark color that doesn’t show every stain or spill! This apron is a great length, width, and thickness that make it actually useful and suitable for the kitchen. It’s super gender neutral (I’m a woman) but my larger husband could easily wear it (both for style, and size). I am very pleased with this product because I was looking for something plain and simple but could actually get the job done without a lot of maintenance - like ironing or washing after every use. Im not as buff as the man in the picture, but it still fits wonderfully
As a 2x woman who was worried this wouldn't fit - I am pleasantly surprised that it does in fact fit! I am even able to wrap the ties around myself. I only need the apron for washing dishes and cooking, but it has helped immensely to keep my clothes dry and splatter-free. It has held up to hot water and burger grease alike. The only critique I have is I wished there was a loop on it to hang it up from. I plan to sew one on myself.
