I really love this crock pot and trust it to do a good job on the various things I use it for, so I didn't want to replace it. Someone suggested looking online for a replacement handle, and I was a bit skeptical about purchasing these because they look like they're designed for round lids, and mine is oval, but I decided to take a chance and purchased them.Once I finally got the old, replacement nut and screw off the old lid, and removed the old handle, attaching this was super simple and it fits my oval lid great. I'm really happy these were available on Amazon! So much cheaper than replacing the whole crock pot. :)

Some difference from original

The washer on the original handle had a washer that also went inside of the hole in the lid. This helped to protect the lid from chipping on the metal screw. This replacement washer only covers the surface of the lid where the screw head would touch. Still works well and worth the price. Kept me from having to buy a new crock pot. If I could give 4.75 stars I would.
