Arrived today. Edges are very sharp. Not dafe at all.I didn't even get to peel off the front film, the back has machine marks, welding marks, black smudges and big scratches. Looks like it was pulled off the machine and shipped. I wish I could give it zero stars. Returning!!

Not my thing
I admit that I probably wouldn't have ordered this were it not a Vine evaluation product. I recognize that a stainless steel cutting board like this one is easier to clean than a wooden or plastic board and therefore poses less risk of cross-contamination.That being said, we humans have been using wooden cutting boards for centuries. Plastic cutting boards are much more recent and more controversial, I think, mainly due to recent discoveries of microplastic fragments in our bodies as well as those of other living creatures. They may also pose a greater risk of cross-contamination than both metal and wooden boards. In my quick research online, I found that hardwood cutting boards have various natural properties that can kill or restrict the growth of bacteria, and when properly cleaned and maintained are not considered a significant health risk by food science experts.On the other hand, there is a consensus that steel cutting boards are far more likely to dull, and even damage knives than wooden or plasic cutting boards, and therefore users must be much more careful in order to avoid knife edge dulling and damage with stainless steel cutting boards. I did some light meat cutting on this board, trying hard to avoid scraping the edge of the knife on the steel board, and found it difficult and a bit unnerving. Perhaps with more practice I could get over it and feel more comfortable with cutting on the steel board. However, since I see little comparative benefit in switching to the steel board versus continuing to use my wooden boards, I don't anticipate using the steel board for routine cutting.I also have some concerns about this particular steel board. It is flat except that one side is turned up at a 90° angle. There is no trough, channel or other provision for catching blood, juices or other fluids that might come from raw or cooked foods. The board comes with 4 stick-on plastic pads which can be stuck to the bottom side of the board to keep it from sliding around on the counter top. No instructions were provided, but common sense would indicate placing them near the four corners of the board. However, doing this elevates the board and creates an unsupported area in the middle of the board. This could cause the board to flex if enough pressure is applied to the unsupported area. With repeated use in this manner the board could warp, becoming concaved toward the center. This could be easily mitigated by providing one or two more of the stick-on pads.I intend to try to find another use for this product other than as an everyday cutting board.

First off, this cutting board looks great compared to the standard wood or plastic boards. The sleek Stainless look matches great with any kitchen. The board is much thicker than I thought it was going to be, making it heavy duty and great feeling. Clean up is a breeze with Clorox wipes and it protects my countertops well. The size is great for veggies and fruits, but I would hesitate to put meats like chicken on it because there is nothing stopping juices from running off the side.My one complaint is that the edges are sharp. They need to be sanded down before leaving the factory, but other than that its a great option for those looking to move away from plastic and wood.

This stainless steel cutting board is a fantastic upgrade for any kitchen. Not only is it sleek and durable, but it has completely replaced my old, warped plastic and wood boards. After a couple of weeks of use, my knives remain just as sharp, which was a huge relief.The board arrived with a protective film over the front, ensuring it was scratch-free out of the box. The lipped design and non-slip pads are standout features, holding the board securely in place for safe and mess-free chopping. This cutting board is a true multi-tasker—ideal for everything from slicing meat to rolling out pastry dough. Cleanup is incredibly easy since it’s dishwasher safe. My only concern is that the non-slip pads might eventually come off after repeated dishwasher cycles. For now, they have held up perfectly after the first wash, but if they do come off over time, I plan to use a dishtowel underneath for extra grip.
