Very Handy for the Softer Veggies and Fruits it’s Created for
This little gadget is SLICK. For standard size bell peppers, you press the larger trimmer into the top and just give it a little twist. The core and seeds have never popped out as shown in the product photos when I remove the trimmer, but it’s a simple matter to grab the stem and then everything slides right out. If stuffed peppers were on the menu, this would be the perfect tool! For smaller items like mini peppers, jalapeños, strawberries, and even cucumbers, the smaller tool works like a charm. I have also tried the smaller gadget on firmer fruits like pears and apples and they were too dense for the corer to slide through, but this is ok with me! It would have been a bonus application, but it's not the intent of the tool! With minimal storage space needed (because the pieces nest together), easy dishwasher cleanup on an upper rack, and the ability to use this for a variety of soft fruits and veggies, I’d snag this gadget all over again for my kitchen.

good corer, not for bell peppers
This was a great idea, just advertised for wrong produce. It does not work on any bell peppers as it is too narrow, it does however work good with tomatoes. It is sharp and easy to use as long as you're not trying to use it on a bell pepper, it tears a hole in the side every time. Now with apples and tomatoes, it works great.

Works!
Once in a while, a kitchen utensil works as it should. This is one of those cases. This corer is an amazing kitchen tool that makes my girlfriend’s life easier when prepping meals and salads. It removes the seeds so easily. It’s a combo tool, featuring a short corer for bell peppers and a longer one for chili peppers. It is rugged and won’t break since it is made of sturdy ABS plastic. It is easy to clean and doesn’t hurt our hands.

Great for bell peppers
This works great for bell peppers! The core comes out super easily and I feel like I don't waste near as much of the pepper when I use this tool compared to a knife. I love that I can pit it in the dishwasher instead of having to hand-wash it.

Gimmicky
If you accidentally cut yourself frequently using knives, yet want to put holes in fruits and vegetables, maybe. And that is a big Maybe. Did it put a hole in the top of the pepper, yes. Did I put it on the stem of an apple and hammer it through without breaking it, yes. I also didn't cut myself with it so, there is that.I still had to use a knife to remove the apple core from the corer. Also, since I missed having it perfectly aligned and the corer is quite small, there were still seeds in the apple that had to be removed with a knife. But there was a uniform hole in the apple. The pepper still had seeds and placenta (pith, ribs, etc.) on the inside, which required cleaning with a knife.I could have circled the stem of the pepper with a sharp knife and had a cleaner finish than what this did.It did not save me anytime. I still had to use a knife to finish the job. It's a one-trick pony that didn't do the job very well.If you like gadgets and are scared of knives, then this might be for you, and one might have rated it higher than I did.3 stars because it didn't break, and it at least partially did what it claimed.

This Was Not Quick and It Did Not Cut My Large Bell Pepper
This little gadget has the potential to be useful, if you're using it on a very small bell pepper. I had a large pepper and the stem / seed remover wasn't even long enough to reach the bottom of the pepper, which caused it to break off and seeds scattered everywhere. The outer (larger) part of the two-piece gadget wasn't sharp enough to penetrate the skin of the pepper and therefore did not cut or slice it at all, but it did smoosh it. This "tool" ended up being more trouble than it was worth because I had to decore and slice it with a knife at the end as well as clean up the mess it made of the seeds scattered about. But IF you were using it on small peppers, with thinner skins, I suppose it could work adequately as described, but I can't say that for sure. If it were larger and sharper, it would be a handy tool to have in the kitchen. Disappointed.

Much easier than using a knife
This works similarly to an apple corer. The flexibility of 2 different widths helps a lot to quickly get the seeds out of the peppers. It wasn’t perfect in removing all the seeds but only left a few behind. Very quick and simple to use.
