After years of broken finger nail and trying to peel extremely un co-operative hot chest nuts…This tool while a bit of an extravagance, but much better the purchasing a mushroom brush…lol. It handled a pound of chestnuts in 1/10 of the time of using a SHARP paring knife to cut an X in the flat side of the chestnut..This step was not only dangerous but damaged the nut….So if I only use it 2 to 3 times a year……It’s worth the investment…..
