If you are looking to save money then these are a good value. They do not seal quite as well as the Ziploc brand that came with my vacuum sealer (those bags were textured on both sides). It feels as if the seal is not as "tight" and that there is always a little air left in the bag. I am not sure if this has to do with one side being flat versus both sides being textured or what, but there is a difference. I have been using them regularly for over the past month, so this review comes after having some time to work with the product. Hope it helps!
