Finally! No more struggling to cut my freshly baked bread
This is such a great slicer. I’ve been looking at the various manual slicers and settled on this one based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. I have amazing knives that do a great job, but my hands are no longer strong enough to safely cut my sourdough. This slicer works on fresh made bread and hard crust bread without tearing or squishing the bread. The suction cups have been firmly placed since I received this a week ago, I just made sure everything was clean and I ran a damp towel on each cup before placing it on the counter. The selector is easy to use and the guide helps keep the slices from slipping as they’re being cut. When you get tired of using a bread knife, this is an excellent option.

Great bread slicer
We recently have started making sourdough bread. This bread slicer works great. It doesn't squeeze the bread down, bread just just glides right through the slicer. Works better then electric ones in my opinion. Adjust to your preference of thickness and clean up is easy. Has suction cups that holds slicer in place while slicing your bread. This is a must have if your need to slice bread.
